SUMMER ART FAIR

CPAG Summer Fine Art Fair hosts its second year in Duncan!

6 Saturdays: ( July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 ) plus August 5th

The fair will tie into the Duncan Farmers Market and will take place on the Heritage Green Door property (126 Ingram Street, Duncan), now owned by the Cowichan Public Art Gallery (CPAG), and will feature local visual artists.

CPAG will offer spaces for eight 10’ by 10’ tents to local artists in conjunction with our wonderful Duncan Farmers Market.

From July 1 to August 5 (total of 6 Saturdays), participating artists can sell their works on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

It is suggested that the tents (not supplied) house two artists. This will allow artists to spell each other and to reduce the rental cost, which is being kept low at $25 per week.

You are invited to apply by email, with the following conditions:

  • • please email three images of your artwork in jpg format to info@cowichangallery.ca, (subject line Attention: CPAG Art Fair)
  • • include your artist information.
  • • an insurance waiver must be signed before the festival begins.
  • • if accepted, you must provide your own tent.

For more information: email us at info@cowichangallery.ca (include Chris Warren in the subject line).

CPAG’s purpose is to advance the public’s appreciation of the arts by producing public art exhibitions, presentations, and arts events, and by providing a forum for qualified artists to exhibit, present, or perform their artistic works through participation in such events. CPAG is moving forward rapidly with the inauguration of its capital campaign.
